SOTH AV Project

Purpose Statement

The SOTH AV Project is designed to improve the experience of both congregants and visitors by upgrading the audio and visual systems in the sanctuary and throughout the building.

The new technology will:

  • Support meaningful worship for both in-person and online participants

  • Equip ministries and events across the church building

  • Ensure accessibility for individuals with hearing and visual differences

  • Provide high-quality, dependable, and user-friendly technology

Vision Statement

This project will strengthen our ability to welcome and engage others through impactful worship and deeper connections.

By inspiring greater participation in worship, service, and volunteer opportunities, these improvements will help us serve God and one another more effectively and faithfully.

SOTH AV PROJECT UPDATE - JUNE 2026

Exciting news!

The AV project team chose AVE (Audio Visual Electronics) install our new audio and visual equipment in the sanctuary and the council approved the proposal. SOTH has signed a contract, and AVE will begin producing a final design. Our goal is to have all of the equipment installed and working well before the next holiday season.

At a very high level, here’s what will be included:

  • Two retractable screens with two high-powered projectors hanging from the ceiling.

  • A new sound mixer and new speakers.

  • Installation and training.

The team hopes that future phases on the project will include more audio and visual equipment throughout the church as needed – like a permanent solution to the fellowship hall.
