Shepherd of the Hills is planning a family camp trip to Holden Village in summer 2019. In order to apply for a group spot we need to get our application in on December 1st. As of right now we have over 50 people interested in attending Holden. Group sizes are 15-40 people, and so we are debating whether or not we will need two groups.
Our plan is to arrive on a Monday and then we would leave Holden on a Saturday. This would give people the weekend to travel there. In order to get to Holden you have to take a ferry from the Fields point landing which departs once a day at 9:20am, so travel plans needs to accommodate this ferry departure. As a group we need to arrive and depart Holden on the same day. On the group application we have to put down two choices for dates for our group. Once our group is accepted, we will be told that we can go and then we fill out a roster with our participants.

Shepherd will not be organizing travel in any way, other than to connect people who might want to caravan. So if you are interested in taking the train or would want to caravan, please let Pastor Joanna know and she will make sure that others who want to travel the same way get linked on an email chain.
