Boomers Group
The Boomers Group is open to all, but with a focus on those who have have just recently obtained their AARP card or have recently paid a college tuition bill! The group meets semi-regularly. See below for upcoming events.
Upcoming gatherings:
We're planning four seasons of food, drink, friendship and laughs – it's the new and improved BOOMERS – FOUR SEASONS! We’ll start up again in the New Year with a winter wine tasting on January 29, 2012. On April 22, 2012 look for a Mexican Fiesta night. In mid-summer we’ll have a Concert in the Park Picnic. And in the fall – Octoberfest!
Baby Boomers (our definition is anyone 22 to 102!) are all invited. Mark your calendars for Four Seasons of Boomer gatherings!
The first 2012 Boomers event will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2012:
What: Wine Tasting Event, bring one bottle to share, with a story
When: Sunday, January 29, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Party Room, Edina Highland Villa Apartments, Villa Way, Edina
Bring: A bottle of wine with a story to share, i.e., your favorite wine and why, how you found it, the wine characteristics, anything you would like to share about the wine. Each bottle of wine arriving will have a card provided to write a short item to be shared with the attendees!
A selection of cheese and crackers, as well as chocolates, will be provided to enhance the wine tasting experience!

February 13th - Wine Tasting Event.
