1st Communion
1st Communion is offered to kids in 2nd grade. A few weeks before Easter, kids gather for instruction and go to Paint Your Plate to paint a keepsake plate. On Maundy Thursday kids receive their 1st Communion during worship.
Everyone is invited to the Lord's table. Kids who desire to commune before 2nd grade may do so. Please inform one of the pastors if your kid wants to take communion. 1st Communion instruction and celebration at Maundy Thursday worship is still appropriate.
