Confirmation Worship will be Sunday, May 18. Please join us for a celebration at 9:30 and worship at 10:45. The Confirmation Banquet will be Thursday, May 15 at 6:00 p.m.
STEPPING STONES OF FAITH
This February the 1st graders will be learning the Lord’s Prayer and the 2nd graders will be learning the Apostles’ Creed. They will be helping in worship by standing up and leading and will be recognized in a special way. The 1st graders will be leading the Lord’s Prayer on Sunday, February 10th and the 2nd graders will be leading the Apostles’ Creed on February 24th.

CAMP REGISTRATIONS
Hey everyone! Going to camp? If you’re going to Luther Park, get please get your registrations and deposits in to Kara by March 23rd (Easter Sunday!) Green Lake people, please get your registrations and deposits to Kara by Sunday, March 3rd.
Confirmation Students raised $170.29 for Homeward Bound, an organization that assists the mentally and physically challenged. We celebrated the stewardship accomplishment with a chocolate cake and by wearing pajamas, and Pastor Kimberly dyed her hair pink. Congratulations, confirmation!
From 6:30-8 p.m. each Wednesday
during the school year our 6th-8th graders
gather to learn more about the faith they will
be affirming in May of their final year. They
participate in three service projects and three
retreats per year. The 8th graders also have
a transitional retreat during the summer as
they move into the senior high ministry. Here
is an overview of the program:

2007 – 2008: The Lord’s Prayer, Martin Luther, Holy Communion, Stewardship (Fall Retreat)

2008 – 2009: The Ten Commandments, The Old Testament, Baptism, Go Green (Fall Retreat)

2009 – 2010: The New Testament, The Apostles’ Creed, World Religions (Fall Retreat)
