VBS Summer Camp

VBS
As of June 1st, there’s 42 days until the High Seas Vacation Bible School!  It’s going to be one exciting ride on the High Seas Expedition at Shepherd!  There’s still time to get your kids registered and for you to get on board the big adventure.  It’s going to be a wash of fun for everyone!  Kids will dig into the Bible learning that God’s Word is true, comforting, surprising, life-changing and is for everyone!  To register go to www.groupvbspro.com/vbs/ez/soth10.

BIBLE CAMP
See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are. (I John 4:1a)

This summer the following youth will be attending Luther Park in Danbury, WI.  Please keep Morgan Baillie, Andrew Christensen, Everett Deiman, Anne Goodroad, Annika Larson, Grace Lauer, Josh Leetch, Luke Leetch, Megan Leetch, Elissa Marble, Alexis Urbina and Isabel Urbina in your prayers the week of June 20-25.

The theme of Bible camp this year is Keeping the Earth.  We as human beings have a special call to care for the amazing gift of God’s creation.  There will always be environmental challenges in our world, and it is our duty to tend to the needs of the earth as long as we live.  The children will take a deeper look at who they are as God’s people, and what their place is in this world.  They will be challenged to go home more hopeful, and inspired to make a difference in the word.  They may even come back and help Shepherd and their own homes become more “green.”  I have a feeling they will come back charged by the Holy Spirit to take action.   We are all called to faithfully care for God’s amazing gift of creation.  Here are the daily themes so you can take part in the journey too.
